Dearest Logan:
Your smile is just that; captivating. I have never been more thankful for anything, my whole life! You are such a joy and your smile is so contagious. Sometimes I close my eyes and listen to your sweet chuckle, and it's in those moments that I realize how great this PRIVELAGE, to be your Mother is.
You've changed so much the last month. You're learning a lot of new things, and it's incredible to watch day by day you growing into the little man God has designed you to be.
Logan, if Mommy could tell you one thing right now,and you would truly comprehend it, it would be this:
You are SUCH a gift. Your life is a gift. The love that's inside you, that's a GIFT, meant to disperse into the lives around you. The dreams you will one day dream, you are going to acheive those goals and live those dreams because of your GIFTS. God has placed them within you, and only YOU can fulfill those and the purpose He has for your life. I am PROUD of you! And, "I LOVE YOU, to the moon and back. . with all that I am, and will ever be, MORE... than anything in my whole life." And lastly but most importantly, GOD LOVES YOU! MORE than you can ever imagine.
With all my love, your #1 Fan,
Mommy
Memories in the making... Psalm 139:13-14 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

9 Months
Logan,
This month has been one of the best months yet! Over the last 4 weeks you have learned many new things: climbing the stairs, standing up on your own (a minute or so at a time!), sleeping through the night, taking your first steps with the help of grasping a leg, piece of furniture, toys, you name it. I love watching your crab crawl but know those days are drawing to an end, as you are learning to take your first steps. You clapped for the first time, although you're still trying to get your coordination down- you're doing a fantastic job! You love to be tickled- though you have always loved this we have learned a new "sugar spot" that really gets you going! You're so ticklish, and it brightens anyones day who hears you belly laugh!! You LOVE the animals, cats, and doggies, you love them all. You light up when I walk into the room, after being away at work. You say "aye", as if to say "hey" sometimes. You LOVE music- my little musician in the making! You LOVE to dance to any and all music that you hear-whether a commercial on tv, a toy, while riding in the car, lullabies, you love it all! We enjoy our "quiet time" each evening, and put our nose in a good book before bedtime. You're such a people watcher, and "learner". We watch classical poetry together, and you love love this! Sometimes you bounce around in your crib like a little spider monkey while I attempt to change your diaper! (Sometimes this takes me 15 minutes) You so enjoy bathtime- and even dance in the bath when I sing silly songs! Grammy and I still give you baths in the kitchen sink sometimes-and you love it. You weighed 18 lbs and measure at 29 inches tall! Growing like a little weed.
I couldn't be more proud of you son, Mommy loves you SOOO much!

the great outdoors
Logan and I spend a lot of time outdoors. I loved nature as a little girl, and even now as an adult I am constantly intrigued by the beauty of mother nature. He notices something new with each trip we take to "explore" the great outdoors! Recently it's been the birds, as they dash from tree to tree. He'll say "Aye!", as if to say "Hey!" when he sees something that catches his eye. Thankful for these precious memories, in the making..

the greatest Gift of all
I'm thankful that..
the One who spins this world into orbit, and existence, has Logan and I in mind. I am thankful that I serve a God who is so much bigger than any trial, circumstance, or situation. I'm also thankful for the ones He places so purposefully in our lives, for reasons far beyond what my eyes can see. Thankful has new meaning to me lately. There's so much to be "thankful" for..
I call Logan my "most thankful thing". He is, absolutely.
